|Holly Lewis also from Kailua, Hawaii has been studying voice with well known voice guru, Betty Grierson for the past 5 years and is a member of the Hawaii Opera Theater’s Women’s Chorus. She has performed in classics like, “The Flying Dutchman,” “Pirates of Penzance,” and “Il Triticco” at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu, Hawaii. She began singing on Hope Chapel Kailua’s praise team 5 years ago and has been pursuing singing ever since.
Holly Lewis originally joined Stephen in a band called, “The Boys Home” as his background vocalist 5 years ago, and eventually became the lead singer of what is now called, “explodingface.” Holly has been co-writing with her dad for the past year, and they are in the process of writing new music for their upcoming blues album titled, “Somebody.”
Explodingface has played in venues of Hawaii including “China Vemura’s Longboard Classic” and “Surfing the Nations” at Waikiki Beach, The Waikiki Shell’s “Harvest Crusade,” The Pipeline Café, and have performed in local churches of Hawaii including: Hope Chapel Kaneohe, Hope Chapel Olomana, Hope Chapel West Oahu, Hope Chapel Kauai, Calvary Chapel, and have been broadcasted on KLHT radio 1040 AM and DayStar Television.
